Good morning
I am going to try a new technique of writing these involving a stream of consciousness, let’s see where it leads.
I really love this tune, it was sampled by the Prodigy and hence nostalgic. Nostalgia can be a good or bad thing (See Brexit)
Anyway my marriage gets recognised by religious people soon as well as the law.
Love you all

Mauritius and Space
It was revealed today by Minister Balgobin that the nano satellite which Mauritius send to space cost nearly Rs 29,000,000. Space is not an area where we need to lean into. The government has wasted this money.
Personally I think we should be spending that money on Intellectual property investments, like patents which will pay a dividend in financial and soft power terms.
How should Mauritius innovate?
Talks with a Mauritian Misogynist
I have probably taken for granted the the women in my life, my wife, my grandmother, my cousins, my friends, and my aunts. Speaking with a misogynist put this into context.
Let’s start with his approach, he posted Andrew Tate videos on a support social media group for girls and women. I reached out to him to understand why he would.
“I inflict, I expect, absolute loyalty from my woman,” he says. “I ain’t having my chicks talking to other dudes, liking other dudes. My chicks don’t go to the club without me, they are at home.” From Observer article.
As with many people (including me) Tate has something to sell, and he calls to certain people.
Now the Mauritian Misogynist describes himself as a naturopath doctor, and tried offering me diagnosis, and advises on Yoga, follows Sadh Guru, and just posts videos from Tik Tok. Personally I would prefer my doctors to have gone through the academic disciplines and training involved over centuries of iteration and also regulated by a professional body and carry liability insurance. That is not to say that meditation and yoga are not beneficial, I practice these.
Anyway this is the part of the whatsapp conversation which stuck out.
There is a strange narrative being told here, an online group which supports the raising of brave girls, apparently is a threat to a male dominated hierarchy (religion, politics, police, civil service) are dominated by men. We have to look at the probabilities here, I can safely get on a bus without being groped, a girl on the other hand has a much higher chance.
Here is a video he shared to me, let’s zoom out here, comparing jobs to relationships.
10 years is 20 six month relationships. Each of those relationships helps filter on what people don’t want. Have we seen the context of what happens with men if they had that many partners.
Anyway my time is up.
My personal view is that we spend too much time online and not engaging with real people. Yes you are reading this online. However a better Mauritius personally will come from breaking the hierarchies and allowing equality of access to opportunities.
