Hello All
There was a TV show called Miami Vice, a police procedural TV show in the United States, which told the story of two undercover police officers taking down drug dealers. The undercover cops would provide fast boat services to transport drugs onto US soil. My idea of island living flipped between Miami Vice and Magnum.
The latest tv serials, Franklin and Bruneau are a hit with the audience. Franklin who introduced his show via a press conference became the biggest hit of the year. His arrest and the arrest of his network are notable because of the Ford Raptor fetish. Now ICAC wants to vet every sale, Bruneau is on bail.
I am not a fan of Bruneau Laurette’s approach, he does not care about collateral damage and did not take ownership over his mistakes. However the case against him has holes, and shows the police to be incompetent, accidentally or deliberate. The Prime Minister abused parliamentary privilege by labelling him a drug dealer without even being tried in a court of law. See book recommendation below.
I wish you a great day.

Book recommendation
I read Touria Prayag’s “When Mauritius lost its bedside manners” and was lucky enough to get a signed copy. It is a gripping read, and an important read. Touria provides much needed context to the problems of the day. Sometimes it seems we forget about recent scandals and get caught up in the scandal of the day. We talk behind closed doors of the problems. People I know have been affected by this targeting.
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

About me
This is where I put annoying descriptors, but simply I like looking at problems, fixing them, and asking questions. Outside of this I love film, music and books. I can be found on twitter and instagram and linkedin.
I also give away books which I might have bought twice.
